About the Authors

Anirban Dutta
Anirban Dutta is a result oriented technology deal strategist. He is an expert in structuring, leading and closing large globally deployed deals, several of those with a total contract value (TCV) in excess of US$50 million. Most of these deals also have substantial cultural, economic and political challenges embedded within them.
Currently as a director at CSC (formerly Computer Sciences Corporation), he is chartered to help grow their healthcare business unit by clinching strategic deals. Prior to CSC, he held leadership positions at Satyam Computer Services (now Mahindra Satyam), IBM, and Sprint (now Sprint Nextel). He has worked Healthcare, Telecommunications and High Tech businesses.
Anirban has a BS in Information Systems from Chicago State University. He holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) certifications from Project Management Institute (PMI) and International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) respectively. He is the coauthor of “Winning Strategies: Secrets to Clinching Multimillion-Dollar Deals”, a book published by Wiley dedicated to technology deal making. He has also published multiple articles and whitepapers for Silicon India, NASSCOM, Rediff.com, IBM Developer Works and Sandhill.com among other places. He has been a member of the Indian Junior tennis team. He lives in Dallas with his wife, boy and girl twins, and two fat dogs.

Hetzel-w-folden
Hetzel W. Folden is a vice president at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where he is chartered to lead a globally deployed deal pursuit team. In his prior job as founder and head of the Strategic Deals Group (SDG) at Satyam, he led a team that supported the organization’s significant growth in reaching US$1 billion in annual revenue in 2006 and rocketing past US$2 billion in 2008.
He is also the coauthor of “Winning Strategies: Secrets to Clinching Multimillion-Dollar Deals”, a book published by Wiley dedicated to technology deal making. He graduated with distinction from General Motors Institute and earned an MBA from Indiana University’s Executive Program. He lives in Southern California with his wife of twenty-five years and a house full of pets.
